A career focused on story and talent development
Nancy began her professional career focused on story and talent development in Hollywood before transitioning into education. Over the past 30 years, Nancy has created and facilitated curriculum for 8th through 12th-grade ELA courses, including Film Studies, A.P. Literature, and Career Studies.
Nancy’s professional development outside of class includes being a fellow with the WNY Writing Project and Facing History and Ourselves, whose mission is to "use lessons of history to challenge teachers and their students to stand up to bigotry and hate."
Nancy is a Lincoln Center-certified teaching artist, a published intuitive poet, musician, and performer, and co-founder of VR Buffalo. Most importantly, Nancy is a mom to an incredible human who teaches her more than any course or program ever could.
